I brought a radiant 2 ct diamond that I sourced, as well as a ring that originally held a 1 ct round cut diamond in to have the diamond changed out. They told me due to the band, there was only two prong options that would work and that it would be set a little higher than the round cut was. I got it back and I feel like there is such a big gap in my diamond and the prongs? The jeweler said lower prongs would not fit the ring I have. And that the diamond is very secure in the prongs.. I don’t know I just am worried. If the jeweler has already told me there’s no lower option, what can I do?
