I’m looking to sign up for Interactive Brokers (IBKR) and FSMOne, but I’ve never actually met anyone in person who uses these platforms. Just wanted to make sure I’m using the correct official websites and not accidentally landing on a scam or phishing site.

I need some advice and maybe just to vent a little.
I signed up for an endowment plan that requires me to pay $8k per year for 10 years (so $80k total). I’ve already paid for 3 years, which is $24k. The surrender value I’ll get is only at the 15th year, at $82k.
I feel really stupid because I only realized the actual guaranteed numbers after sinking in this much. The agent sold me on the illustrated returns and never properly explained the guaranteed part. It was the worst reckless decision I’ve ever done, i didnt know what I was signing up to and was completely ignorant.
My questions:
• Has anyone here kept their endowment plan all the way to maturity?
• Did you actually get the guaranteed value or the illustrated one?
• Is it worth continuing, or should I just surrender and accept the sunk cost?
I’m torn because the sunk cost feels painful, but I also don’t want to keep throwing money into something that might not be worth it.
Would love to hear from people who’ve been through this.
