I recently started photography as a hobby and bought myself a very cheap camera for 90$aud.

I've really enjoyed my time taking photos and started looking for something a bit better. Immediately I realized I don't actually know what I'm looking for and don't understand what's so different about them. Lens variations make total sense but the camera itself doesn't seem like it could differ all that much
