Here's a clip of my voice a few months prior to the surgery

And this is how I sound right now

Personally? I'm beyond happy, I simply don't suffer from voice dysphoria anymore. I still have visits with my speech therapist while I finish recovering, which could take up to a couple of months still.

That said... I had a prior bad experience asking for feedback before, someone straight up said my results were "terrible" without even providing specific feedback which honestly hurts, so please refrain from offering criticism that isn't constructive in any way. Thank you.

I've been on this journey for around 7 years now, and I've had pretty bad voice dysphoria from the start. I tried, I really tried to train my voice at the start but I struggled so much and I couldn't get the results I wanted. I tried again over the years without any luck.

For reasons I won't get into here training with a professional was simply not an option for me.

I chose to get on the waiting list for VFS which in my coutry is thankfully free, though the wait is a bit rough. This culminated in me going through the surgery on the 20th of March and with care, time and the help of the speech therapist (also free and included in the process) I'm starting to recover my speech.

This procedure didn't just alleviate my dysphoria, it's actually giving me gender euphoria.

I'm going to post an old, random clip of my voice I sent to someone and the same phrase with my current voice (I apologize if this site is meh, I'm open to swapping it for a better service).
