Hi guys,

I’m a prospective OMSCS student hoping to maximize exposure to research opportunities. Has anyone completed the project option while also taking VIP credits? i.e. 15 credits of regular coursework + 6 credits of VIP + 9 credits toward the Project Option.

Based on the requirements page, this combination seems like it may be allowed, but I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has tried this or confirmed it with advising.
