My friends and I are hoping to do a sunrise hike in the Cookeville TN area but I can’t find any trails that are open before sunrise. Would I be able to send an email to a park and request entry or would that be totally out of the question? The plan is to hike shortly before/ during sunrise but sunrise is about 5:50 am and everything I’ve seen opens at 6 or later. I would appreciate any recommendations.
