We spent a lovely afternoon chatting at Capt. Tony's Saloon. I had interviewed for a job. We decided you would call in one year and follow up. And then.... you did! Ive always felt bad for dropping that ball. If this ever finds you, I'd like you to know i had a legit reason for not responding, and you'll forever be the (potential) one who got away. Hope you've had a great life.

Many years ago in key west, I had a real connection with a man and we promised to meet again. A year later he kept his promise but I flaked out. I always wanted to tell the story. And who knows, maybe he'd recognize himself and have an answer to an old question.
