Location: South Carolina.

I own an auto repair shop. One of my employees used the shop after hours to do a side job over the weekend. While test driving the vehicle he ended up having an accident and totaled the vehicle. Now that person is suing me. I received no compensation at all for the performed repairs and all prior discussions were between my employee and the owner of the vehicle. Am I liable at all? This occurred in South Carolina.
