Graduating with no internships
I think I am going to graduate with no internships, and am looking for advice on what to do. I graduate in December of 2027. I have a 3.9 GPA, work experience, and leadership in Beta Alpha Psi. I have applied for hundreds of internships, gotten a dozen interviews, and no offers. I use the star method in interviews and dress appropriately. The only thing I can think of is that I'm taking a semester off for medical reasons and am neurodivergent. Am I screwed if I don't graduate with an internship? I'm thinking of pivoting out of Accounting and doing something else like healthcare, because I feel like no employer is going to want me if I don't graduate with an internship, and if I can't get an internship right now I don't see how it's going to be different after I graduate. It's also just incredibly frustrating to do everything right and to still be rejected over and over again. I signed up for VITA and am going to be doing that during busy season. Can I get some advice on what else to do now to become hireable?
