New to metro royale, what's this allocate/participate/give up mechanism. I feel like I'm missing something.

It comes up when I kill a boss, I think. There was this one time when I killed a rogue ninjas in artic base, its crate glowed red. But when I opened it some items where locked(like it has a gray overlay on it and can't pick up). This allocate/participate/giveup options also came up when I opened a rogue ninja crate killed by my teammates.

Am I getting scammed by my random teammates... Are they getting better loots because I'm not understanding the mechanism.

Also sometimes the crate-open button not showing up too... Whats with that ?

If I get the Karambit – Blazing Sun knife as a drop from enemies in Metro Royale, will I automatically receive its card as well?

The boss enemies in the metro royale mode can drop the knife, right ? Will that automatically grant the card as well ? How that works ?

Fortune refiner event. Is it worth it ? Anything useful to get from it ?

I have no clue how this works. I already spent most wealth without realising that there is a "clue" thingy mechanism. Is it still worth to pursue ?
