Deciding between Georgia Tech OMSA and UCSD MSDS
I have a BS in a technical field and I want to become a data scientist. Cost is a factor for me.
OMSA seems like the obvious choice on paper. Way cheaper, established, solid reputation. Feels like I could get to the same place if I’m intentional.
UCSD is in person and branded as “data science,” but it’s way more expensive and newer. Not sure if I’m just paying for the title and location.
Does UCSD actually change outcomes enough to justify the cost? Or is OMSA the smarter move?
