How to best fix this?
I just started a new warp today and I found a threading error and of course it’s right in the middle, which means it’s going to take a few hours for me to fix it by removing the thread, resleying, tying to the cloth beam. I have two small kids and that means it will probably at least take me a week before I’m ready to weave again. So I would like to see, if I have other options that can save me some time before I’m up and running.
I have two threads on shaft 4 in stead of just one.
Can I just pull the one thread out and weave along even though I will then only have a sett of 9 threads/cm at this particular spot compared to 10 for the rest? Will it even out during wash afterwards?
I could also just embrace the error and then never have a calm nights sleep again 🫣
It’s cottolin 22/2 10 threads/cm, 10 picks/cm. It’s for dish-towels.
