Current University of the Cumberlands students

I have a question for current students at UC: I'm in the process of applying to UC but chatting with an enrollment advisor and looking at their website, one thing concerns me. It's the structure of the program. I understand it's an 8-week semester (which I'm familiar with from my undergraduate degree), so taking 2-3 classes per 8-week semester is considered full time. What concerns me is there's no break in between the 8-week semesters, meaning if you're trying to finish the degree in 5 semesters, you're continuously in school with no breaks. If you are a current UC student, how did you approach this, how is that working for you? Any advice is greatly appreciated! TIA!!!

Accepted into Program

Hi Y'all - just wanted to spread the good news. I got accepted to LSU's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I'm excited and very nervous since it's a very different career field from what I've been doing most of my life. Any suggestions on how to prepare and to not feel overwhelmed the first semester are appreciated!
