so long story short
in 2022 i had a pretty bad case of covid and coughed so hard i was diagnosed with costrocondritis
all through 2022-2024 i was a base in cheer so people were constantly falling on my chest and rib cage and then i got into a pretty bad car accident
now in 2026 I finally noticed my left rib clicking/popping every single time i sneeze hard (i typically do baby sneezes so they don’t normally move my body much) I’ve noticed they do it a lot but never really truly focused on it until i couldn’t ignore the pain anymore. it radiates all over my side and it gets so bad i can’t look down.
i had been reading on here as well that it could be what’s causing some other gi symptoms i’ve been having (low appetite, nausea, weight loss, food residue on endoscopy) i already don’t have a gallbladder so i know that’s not it and i have a gi whose pretty on top of things but i was even wondering if this was a possibility/thing to explore or if the two aren’t related in the slightest from other people’s perspectives!
