Njord, Ran, Aegir and Alaska Trip
Hello friends, I hope I find you all well and looking forward to the weekend.
I'm English, and travelling to Alaska on a cruise for two weeks next week, I'm obviously super excited but I have a couple of questions.
I don't work with Njord, Ran, Aegir, any of the other sea-associated gods/jotunn in my regular practice (I live about as far away from the ocean as possible in my country), and would like to make an offering before I leave. I'm wondering if anyone has any inspiration for me, or what works for them. Any advice is welcomed :)
My second question is about my Mjolnir. I wear it constantly, either around my neck, or tied around my wrist. It was a symbol of strength for me even before I found my faith and it rarely, if ever, comes off. My home and social circles aren't particularly religious and nobody has ever reacted negatively towards my paganism.
I do however, hear a lot about how a lot of pagans in America remaining in the 'broom closet' due to areas being heavily Christianised, and people getting accused of all kinds of things.
Do you think its wise I bring it and wear it? I want too, but I also don't want to get into potentially aggravating situations.
