Anyone interested in joining for a 1-week workation from the hills/coast?
Hey everyone,
I’m a software developer from Pune and I’m planning a 1-week workation sometime in the next few weeks. Thinking of either:
Himachal (Bir/Dharamkot/Kasol side)
South Goa
The idea is simple — work during the day, chill/explore in the evenings, enjoy good weather and a peaceful environment away from city routine.
What I’m looking for:
Reliable WiFi
Calm place with cafés/coworking spots
Budget-friendly stays
Scenic + less crowded
Solo-travel friendly
Also, if anyone else is planning something similar and wants to join, feel free to DM/comment. Could be fun to have a small remote-work group for a week — work, café hopping, bike rides, treks, sunsets, etc.
Would also appreciate recommendations for:
Best towns/areas to stay
Hostels/homestays with good internet
Current weather conditions
Places genuinely good for remote work
Open to other suggestions too besides Goa/Himachal.
