post-341 meeting frustration
I had my 341 meeting today. None of the creditors showed up and it would have gone off without a hitch except for one thing...
Last Friday, I got an email from my lawyer stating the trustee was asking for statements from my Schwab account. Problem is, I've never had one. Had no clue what they were talking about. They also asked for venmo checking statements (don't have a venmo checking account either, just venmo) and also some bank statements that I had already provided them like literally the week prior. So I was deeply confused, responded immediately...and texted... and called the office (recording says it was closed, call back during business hours 7a to 7p, M-F... it was 3:30 pm).
I sent another email at 5AM yesterday morning, I called them yesterday and spoke with someone who like, made a note that I called but nothing ever came of it. I never heard form them.
So today I have my 341, and the trustee asks me for the statements for the Schwab account. I told her that I never had an account with Schwab and she informed me that it was put on my petition that I did. So my lawyer has to do an amended petition now and the trustee with look at that towards the end of June. When I got off work, I looked up the petition again and see that they did indeed say that I have stocks through Schwab. I guess I didn't catch this when I went over it with the lawyer before filing and we certainly never discussed it or I would have corrected it then. But the problem is, I do have stocks, through my bank, not Schwab. And I told that to my lawyer - I think they just put the wrong name on the petition. So I have submitted a bunch of recent statements to my attorney's office but now I'm anxious I'm going to get in trouble because I didn't catch their error before and was so confused by the email I got the other day that it did not even occur to me that it was my stocks they were asking about.
Am I screwed or is this not a big deal?
