Trying to take my dad for a birthday round this weekend. We’ve never been to either. Anyone played these recently? For reference he plays weekly about a 15 handicap. I’m happy breaking 100.

I’m a US citizen and applied for green cards for my wife and her son (age 6). He received his green card first without any conditions expiring in ten years. My wife received hers about 8 months after with condition expiring in 2 years. I’ve been told that this is irregular and my stepsons greencard should also have a 2 year expiration date.
I called USCIS but they couldn’t confirm any expiration dates or conditions tied to my stepsons case. Only that he could adjust his status with his mom.
Was he issued this card by mistake? If so, would his condition removal be the same as my wife’s expiration date?
It’s already been over 2 years since his card was issued and my wife’s will expire this coming February.
I’ve reached out to a non profit for legal advice but haven’t heard back yet. Any guidance or help is appreciated so my wife can sleep better.
