IF the rumors about FFX being remade are true, what would you hope is added in the remake, and what do you hope stays the same? (I'm a bit doubtful so this is purely hypothetical)
Luckily with how FFX the original is, i dont believe it would need to be broken down into three games like FF7's, truly it would just expand on already existing areas but not as extreme as 7 does it. The original getting through the story would be roughly 30-40 hours (Not counting side stuff), meanwhile RPG's like the Persona series are fully capable of doing 100+ hours of gameplay from programs that were made over 15 years ago, FFX is fully capable of being that length because i dont even think it needs a drastic change in appearance, just a touch up at most (Especially the HD remaster faces)
With that being said here are the things that i would want to see added into the game
-Spheres from the other high summoners, we see plenty of Braskas journey through the Jecht Spheres, but i'd like to see the same or similar ammount of attention to fleshing out Lord Gandof, Lord O'holland, and Lady Youcun and their guardians
-Speaking of the High Summoners, At the end of FFX we battle Jecht as Braskas Final Aeon, i would actually love to be able to fight all of the previous final Aeons, maybe all of them as bosses throughout an expanded version of Sin's interior
-One thing that always bugged me about FFX was the focus on 4 elements and then only 3 of them having Aeons, original concept art actually shows Mt Gagazet and The Ronsos were going to have their own temple, and the exterior design leads me to believe that it was actually a temple for a water Aeon (The Shape and Color scheme actually match many of Leviathans previous designs). I would want them to add Leviathan into the Aeon roster. Adding this would make it more believable that while Yunas party climbed Gagazet that 1) Seymour fought and killed off most of the Ronso's living there and 2) Catch up with the party
-The Gameplay for Blitzball is crunchy at best, they have a real opportunity to make it something really cool, one suggestion is making it like theyre actually swimming (Aka going higher and lower is a thing instead of everyone being at the same level)
-Since it was kind of there in the original, but 7 Rebirths affection stats, I'd like to officially incorporate them, dialogue decisions you make throughout the game will effect how characters feel about you, and include several more cutscenes that depend on who likes you the most, maybe even have some cutscenes slightly effected if a certain character actually hates/dislikes you
What i dont want to change
-The Battle System
-The Sphere Grid (Open to new versions of the sphere grid like when we got expert, but still, keep the sphere grid)
Other Things i'd want
-Keep the original voice actors, but have them re record the lines
