I took a new razor, a cheap plastic one. took a whole lemon. zested it. it was very easy. no white part came into the zest. then cut and squeezed the lemon juice. no need of fancy equipment.... I have a peeler, but it removed the white pith. but razor is sharp and has a very thin gap. no hassle
