Can't get hot / cold flange pieces off wall to replace the valve under it. Shimmied a flat head underneath and there was no give or noticeable movement so I am pretty sure I need to twist it off somehow, but I'm stumped on how to remove the flange.

Have applied 3 coats of PB breaker and tried twisting with pliers on the lip over the past few hours, but still stuck.

Any suggestions outside of sawing is greatly appreciated!
