Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a detailed review of my mutual fund portfolio and future allocation strategy. My main goal is long-term wealth creation and retirement planning. I may also use a part of my future land sale amount to invest gradually into mutual funds.
Risk Appetite
Aggressive to moderately aggressive.
I can handle market volatility for long-term growth and I’m comfortable staying invested during corrections.
Investment Goal
Retirement corpus creation
Long-term wealth generation
Financial stability through SIP + gradual lump sum investing
Investment Horizon
10-15 years
Current Funds
Currently considering / investing in:
Nippon India Large Cap Fund
Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund
Bandhan Small Cap Fund
UTI Nifty 50 Index Fund
UTI Nifty Next 50 Index Fund
ICICI Prudential Liquid Fund (for parking lump sum money before staggered investing)
Allocation Plan
Possible allocation idea:
Large Cap / Index: 40%
Flexi Cap: 35%
Small Cap: 25%
I may also park around ₹25 lakh in a liquid fund first and slowly move it into equity funds through STP/SIP over time.
Why I Selected These Funds
Nippon Large Cap → stability and strong large-cap exposure
PPFAS Flexi Cap → diversified strategy and long-term consistency
Bandhan Small Cap → higher growth potential for long horizon
UTI Index Funds → passive exposure to Indian market growth
App Used

My Questions
Are these funds good for a 10-15 year horizon?
Is there too much overlap in my portfolio?
Should I reduce small-cap allocation considering current valuations?
Is this a good strategy for building a retirement corpus of ₹3–5 crore?
Would you simplify or change anything in this portfolio?
Would appreciate honest feedback and suggestions.
