I'm finally at a place where I can dive into recording and fell in love with Mantra. That one was a no brainer. I also bought Petrucci and Gojira, as they both sound great and seem to have different amp models.

However, after reading a lot of posts on here, I've heard two things. 1) You don't need to buy more than one plugin. You can basically get most sounds out of one. and 2) There are newer plugins released that people say handle every sound, possibly better (Plini, Nameless Suite X). What are your thoughts? Did these newer plugins make the old ones a little less relevant? Or are they still some of the best on the market? Either way, I'm enjoying it!
