I've already got Graham Greene's 1955 The Quiet American, that I read and loved at college and that got made into a film with Brendan Fraser and Michael Caine. Also have on order Dispatches, by Michael Herr, about being a journalist during the war. Would like something a little lighter (thematically) too! Thanks for any help.
