Quit During Lunch (Medical)

So yeah, I did leave during my lunch break, and didn't go back. I did email my supervisor telling them I left and why. They got one and a half days out of me.

For background, I have a certification that allows me to work Medical Assistant (MA) jobs, and various other jobs in Healthcare. I had previously worked on an ambulance, and this was my first ever job as an MA. I was really excited, I thought I would enjoy it and that it might be a good break from the ambulance, but this place certainly wasn't.

This place didn't have red flags, it was the red flag. Before my agreed upon start date, the only thing I had done was a background check. No checking references, no sending in my certifications, no I-9/direct deposit forms, nothing. My first day I walk in, sit with the supervisor who hired me, she activates my work account and email, then brings me to my lead. I literally immediately started shadowing them, and getting told what to do and how to do it. 3 hours in and I'm rooming people by myself, with no direct oversight, on an incredibly busy day.

This place, come to find out, had the highest level of turnover I had ever seen. They even let a non medical person (the supervisor) do an interview on a prospective physician. Thats how bad they are.

During my first day, I'm rooming patients by myself, no oversight, I still dont have any paperwork for myself filled out, I haven't shown a single person my certifications to work, or even identifying documents to prove who I am, nothing. A provider even had to go into an exam room to cry because they were so stressed out/etc..

My very short, and professional, "Formal Resignation" for my one and half days of work was brief, but at one point stated that they were dangerous and negligent.

What the fuck was that
