the theory was looking at who could be a possible leak to the black swan and concluded with >!grizel!< being a contender due to her being in most conversations with important information that the neverseen somehow seems to know and I was just reading unlocked and noticed in the section about goblins it states 'and if they did decide to break their treaty with the elves, it would be disastrous- particularly if Amy bodyguards turned against their charges'

I feel like this wouldn't have been stated if it wasn't important or relevant to later books
