22M left-sided stroke. No toe movement after a year.

Hi guys, as the title says I’m about a year out from my stroke and I do 500 reps a day of ankle dorsiflexion,
I have a good range of motion in my ankle joint and so far as I can move the foot up and down and I can extend my big toe.

Despite doing a high Number reps, I am persistently unable to move the other toes. But when I stretch them by forcing the toes into a flexed position and plantar flex the ankle, it is as though I can actually move the toes but the benefit wears off after a few minutes.

Has anybody experienced recovery of all of their toes who can advise me because I can’t even walk around without a pair of socks on at the moment and I think it’s due to the immobility of my toes?

Thank you so much ❤️

Hi guys, I hope you’re doing well and not being too hard on yourself ❤️

I have been struggling a lot with my inability to use my phone’s touch screen with my affected hand which used to be my dominant hand.

I hold it with the non-affected hand and try to practice the movements, like opposition and extension.

But the problem is, I basically have a full range of motion when it comes to the thumb. I just can’t alternate them rapidly enough to scroll through my mobile phone device.

Has anybody who has recovered a lot of their hand function learned any tips about how to do this?

Thank you guys :)
