For me, I would give "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and "Mistborn" era 1 by Brandon Sanderson and "Looking for Alaska" by John Green and "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. I mostly read fantasy so i mostly gave recs of that but I'm eager to see what everyone else thinks!
