Portfolio at 18 (not enough exposure?) PLUS FSELX

Looking for more exposure to the market, feel like my portfolio is too small and not as diverse. General want to be risky with some safe bets. Any thoughts?

Do I need surgery? (Partial ACL Tear)

Hey everyone, I’m 19 and very physically active. I rock climb regularly, run, hike, and stay active almost every day. I recently got an MRI on my right knee after ongoing instability and pain.
MRI findings said:
Partial ACL tear
Small joint effusion
Bone edema / impaction-type fracture on lateral femoral condyle
Mild to moderate tibial plateau edema
No meniscus tear
PCL and collateral ligaments intact
My biggest issue is instability. When I run, my knee sometimes gives out and I’ve actually fallen because of it. Rock climbing also causes pain, especially after awkward falls or impacts. I’m worried that continuing to live actively with instability will just keep damaging my knee over time.
Part of me wants to just get surgery now while I’m young instead of risking worse problems later like arthritis, more tears, cartilage damage, etc. I really don’t want this becoming a lifelong issue or limiting my activity level as I get older.
For people who’ve had partial ACL tears:
Did you end up needing surgery anyway?
Did PT alone actually stabilize your knee?
If you were young and active, would you recommend reconstruction sooner rather than later?
Did delaying surgery make things worse?
I know nobody here can give medical advice, but I’d really appreciate hearing experiences from people who’ve dealt with something similar.
