Personal/Work Laptop Switch Set Up Help

I know there are a lot of posts about this, but I still don't have a good grasp of what would work for me and a lot of the linked items aren't available anymore.

Background: I have AuDHD and tech stuff like this is confusing/overwhelming to me, so I apologize if some of my questions seem to have obvious answers. Also, because of my AuDHD, I have a robust system of organizing myself and keeping myself on track with what I should be working on at any given moment. Part of that relies on the ability to brain dump thoughts out so I'm not distracted by them. Unfortunately, work keeps blocking the ways I've set up to do this. First it was Notion, then I started using OneDrive and OneNote, now our personal OneDrive accounts are blocked. I don't want to migrate to another site/system only to have that one end up blocked too, so I'm hoping to explore this switch set up first.

My set up:
I have two Acer monitors [link]

USB Logitech Mouse

ZOYU GMK104 Keyboard

Work Laptop: Dell Latitude 5520 [link] (I will not be allowed to install any drivers onto this laptop)

Work Dock: Dell WD19S [link] (I am not tied to continuing to use this, but it's what I currently have)

Personal Laptop: ASUS Q530V [link]

My Goals:
Ability to easily switch between my work laptop and personal laptop without having to unplug anything or download any drivers.

Ability to easily switch with both laptops remaining closed.
This is an issue I run into when I move my dock cord back and forth, it doesn't always seamlessly switch when the laptop stays closed so I have to move a bunch of stuff/rearrange my desk to be able to open the laptop and get the dock to register that it's on.

Bonus: Ability to not only switch between the two laptops but also have both display at once, each on a different monitor.

I've seen that some of the KVM set ups seem to allow you to switch between laptop a on both screens, laptop b on both screens, and laptop a on screen a and laptop b on screen b at the same time. However, I'm unsure of how that last option works. Can you easily move from screen a to screen b or is one just there for viewing and can't be interacted with? How do you switch from working on laptop a on screen a to laptop b on screen b in that set up?

Please let me know if you need more information about my set up - I tried to provide everything I could think of.

Thank you in advance for your advice and guidance!
