Notice period
I've worked in UST Global, Fragomen and other companies outside Infopark, including one's in Bangalore like JPMC. The thought that bothered me was notice period being 2 and 3 months which felt unreasonable for the employee seeking a means to make a living.. I moved to Canada and I'm now a citizen, when I look back after working in India for about 8 years, I fail to understand why can't there be reforms to reduce the notice periods to two weeks max and bring in a law or work regulation since there is a lot of supply for people looking out for employment. I'm sorry if I hurt some managers here but can't wrap my head around this dark process of having to put up with working for an employer where an employee is voluntarily looking to quit by all means.. Why such poor labor reforms?
