Working up the courage to ride over 30mph

So I’ve been riding my Begode extreme pretty consistently for about a month and am very confident in bike lanes and even have been more recently riding on trails off-road. Want to learn to sit down and also want to learn to hop curbs. I’d like to be able to ride anywhere I need to but when I get on roads that are 35mph+ I realize I am not comfortable accelerating up to the speed of traffic and feel like I’m getting in the way of cars. Was anyone else stuck in this place for awhile? 20-30mph still feels fast for me but I want to be able to accelerate up to 30-40 from standing still at a light so I can ride on normal roads. Not trying to do daredevil stuff the EUC is purely a practical mobility device for me.

Begode Extreme grindy at low speeds

So I’ve just started riding (got my wheel up to 30mph yesterday for the first time which still feels really fast). I had a guy recalibrate the wheel for me when he fixed my tire tube and after that is when I learned to get up on the wheel and ride it with a full tire. Been riding it for a week. Still haven’t practiced reversing or pendulum but feeling very comfortable on streets. Want to learn stairs and hopping curbs. Anyways I’ve noticed when I’m getting on the wheel and going under 10mph the motor seems to vibrate and almost grind until I start going a little faster. Is this something to worry about?
