Need advice (freelance actor/talent)
Hi! I hope you are doing well. To start, I'm a 20 yearold college student who recently got into acting, I've had a couple of projects, including student films and an appearance on segment on national television. I'm not sure if this is the right sub reddit, but I would like to ask people for advice who are in the same field as me.
I've been contemplating if I should create new accounts for my acting career. This includes Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Mainly, Instagram is my priority. I've been exchanging igs with fellow actors and colleagues in some productions I was in. What I use is my main account on Ig, which was created around march 2020. My concern is, I want a clean Ig, but it would be rough to start off to something new, and I value the age of the account, and the former username changed (for a clean instagram handle). On my main, I already have plenty of fellow actors there, and it's such a hassle to move them to a new account. My main is not that clean anymore since I have private dms there with friends. It concerns me because I'm planning on verifying my main, but what holds me back is it bein "private". Can someone help me? I'm really new to this.
