Redistributing Mutual Fund Portfolio
Currently 28, considering redistributing my mutual fund portfolio for the long term.
Right now I have:
$200k in a Conservative fund
$20k in Equity Index (S&P)
$20k in Blue Chip
$15k in Growth stock
This comes out to:
35.36% bonds
53.36% stocks
1.58% cash
8.7% other
Consindering moving $100k out of my conservative fund to put towards my index fund instead. Thoughts? It feels like at my age having a vast majority of my stocks being invested conservatively is hindering my long term growth.
