Hot Take: Ramia do not need any power-ups or gain any new skills.
Personally, as a Ramia reader, I like characters with their existing skills and powers, trying to adapt to their enemies, especially when their enemy has a very powerful ability that contrasts sharply with the character's. This adds a strategic, survival, and adaptive element. The idea of Ramia having new abilities appeals to me less.
