Help earnings for Roblox game development and filling tax.
Hi yall. So I've been making Roblox games without my family knowing which has gotten me earnings of $730 in 2025 and $622 in 2026.
I didn't know I had to fill out tax forms and also didnt get one from roblox or any kind of invoice on it. I was told by a friend im supposed to report this to the IRS as ive made over $600.
Im also now having a summer partime as well which might affect things too.
What am I supposed to do and is there any consequences I'm going to face for nothing having filled out a tax form for all this time? Ive never done this before or know anything about filing taxes/reporting this stuff. I started this as a side hobby as a minor but made those earnings at 18.
If possible id like to do this alone as id rather not let my family know about my work and try to fix/or do whatever im supposed to do before I get into trouble with the IRS and etc. I live rather sheltered so I can't really go anywhere either if I need to contact or get anything physical. Am I in any danger and is there anything I can do about this in my situation?
