How do I get rid of this?
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction here. For some background:
I have owned a 2005 BMW X5 for 18 years (bought in 2008) and to be honest have never really looked after it from a detailing perspective until now. Having watched endless youtube videos on the topic I finally plucked up courage to take on sorting it myself and to be honest its come up pretty well, except what you see in the pictures:
On the passenger door under the wing mirror, was a particularly difficult patch of moss/lichen/green sh*t, and after removing it using Koch Chemie Green Star Universal Cleaner (diluted 1/10), snow foaming the car then clay barring and finally cutting with Koch Chemie F6 fine cut compound I'm left with what you see in the pictures.
I'm assuming that whatever was growing on there has etched itself into the clearcoat, so my question is - Are there any products that will remove/minimise it other than going nuclear and doing a heavy cut pass with something way more aggressive like Koch Chemie's H9 heavy cutting compound.
Many thanks in advance for any ideas/suggestions.
