What The Heck Is This????
Within a larger order I purchased a small item from a local warehouse that was like $3.99+$2.99 shipping. It was a clearance item and sold elsewhere for $10.99+ so it was a good deal to me.
When it arrived, it was just a sealed envelope with nothing inside and no evidence of the packaging being tampered with. Fortunately the package showed the weight which matched the weight of just the envelope and after research I learned the item weighed 7 oz and the package showed 1 oz. I contacted the seller begged them not to refund me and instead send me a replacement. I don't want to risk my rating. They agreed and sent me a tracking number for the replacement order. That was a week ago.
I realized today I still hadn't gotten the replacement order and checked out the supplied tracking number on the US postal service website and got this warning.
Never seen that before. I'll take a loss on it because I doubt I'll get another replacement and again don't want to risk my rating on temu. Point is, it's getting tighter and tighter out there and more unique scams are going to be a result of that. So be careful!
