Recruiter lied to me kinda and now idk how to feel about it
Hey I’m 18 and wanna be a marine and found out my recruiter told me the half truth I haven’t signed anything yet. It makes me mad when people aren’t fully truthful like I know the military is strict so don’t sugarcoat this shit to me, the 1st one him and his boss told me “the longer and older I get the more opportunities I lose” like be real man, then I asked if I could have a pet in the military once I get out of boot camp and he says yeah. I google it and I can’t have a pet until I live off base, WHY NOT JUSY SAY THAT I WOULD’VE BEEN FINE WITH THAT ANSWER, idk how to feel I still wanna join but now I just feel eh and it kinda upset me but there’s no point in confronting him bc supposedly a lot of recruiters are like this.
