I keep seeing this story about Clélia Verdier and reflecting on how narcoleptics/IH dream…

As a narcoleptic with extremely vivid dreams I can somewhat relate & am horrified about what I could potentially experience in 3-weeks knowing what I can experience in one night… I know it’s reported that her dreams were not only extremely realistic but also very traumatic. As narcoleptics/IH, a lot of us experience very vivid real/surreal dreams and the nightmares are typically gruesome. Just wondering if this has crossed anyone else’s mind after seeing these images of her and headlines?

(Not trying to downplay or make light of her experience, just reflecting on my experience as a narcoleptic)

*edit: I wasn’t paying much attention when I pulled this image from another post and so I didn’t realize the image is AI. The story itself is hard to verify after looking further into it. (My bad, I know better to fact check) Silver-lining: I think regardless of if this story is true or not—those with us with Narcolepsy/IH can have residual trauma from our dreams and all experiences shared below are valid and important to share.
