I’m fairly new to the administrative system, I’ve always been loyal to the good old feudal ways. Tonight I gave it a try and I’m quite confused.
The system itself seems complex but very fun. The problem is: once I, Manuel Komnenos, died, my son Alexios (already co-monarch and by far the most favoured candidate, with at least 70 points of advantage over the second candidate) didn’t get elected. Instead, some random Angelos usurper got elected (I’m not even sure he was in second place), and I ended up playing as Maria, lady of nothing but heiress to the family mansion, whose children belong to a different dynasty.
Did the game just mess up, or is there more to the succession than the score? Is there any way to be sure your heir actually gets the title?
