Started hardening off my seedlings a few days ago and noticed this crispy spot on this tomato plant. It's localized in this one spot and none of my other tomato plants have it. Is it disease? Sun damage?

For context, I live in an owner-occupied home and have a first floor and basement tenant. The backyard is shared amongst all the units, though only me and the basement tenant frequently use it. I am getting into gardening this year and came home after dropping off my friend to check up on the plants in the backyard. Noticed my basement tenant was there along with his boyfriend working on some RCs. I waved hello at that them and proceeded to check on my plants. They didn't respond to my greeting and the boyfriend (who doesn't live in the house) said something along the lines of "hey you wanna take this back inside to work on?" They promptly left through the basement guy's back door to head back in. Just wondering if it was wrong of me to use the yard as the same time as them. Kind of felt like maybe they were weirded out by my presence.
Hi all. First time gardening seriously and I definitely started my eggplant seedlings too early. My other seedlings seem to be doing fine for now but this one is starting to flower I think. It's currently in a 4 inch pot. I'm planning on hardening off in a few weeks with a plant day on Memorial Day. My question is, can this seedling survive a few more weeks in this pot? Trying to avoid up-potting but will if I have to. Thank y'all!
