Minor Issue:

I installed the KS6 a few days ago. I noticed that the light for the power and magic wand icons on the seat show through the gap in the lid when closed. Is this the case for everyone else?

Major Issue:

The remote is also inconsistent. Sometimes I can sit down and the wash functions can come on as soon as I click the button. Other times, I will sit on the seat, but the wash functions won’t work (the icon turns on but no beeps). The fan and clean functions would still work though.

I thought maybe I wasn’t applying enough pressure on the sensor, or shifted my position, but I’ve tested clicking wash (nothing happens) -> fan -> stop -> wash (finally working) without moving.

I’ve powered it down via remote and unplugged it a few times up to 30 minutes, but that doesn’t seem to make a difference (sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t).

Does anyone have experience troubleshooting this? If this is defective I need to return asap.

I live in a townhome community and don’t really have a yard. It’s very sparse at the moment after overgrowth was pruned and I’m considering adding in some low maintenance shrubs or flowers myself.

Anyone have recommendations? I’m in Northern Virginia if you have input on the types of plants native to this area.

I purchased this online from a BMW dealership’s parts website. They pretty much folded it a bunch of times and stuffed it in a box. If not, i wont waste my time waiting and return them (no cost to me).

Was in IKEA earlier and saw them on sale. May be worth it at this price? I have a bunch of Sonos speakers already so the bookshelf’s look appealing. They have a few dozen of them all in stock. don’t see any of the glass for the lamps though.
