My Betta's 10 Gallon Penthouse
Hi all, this is my Betta's 10 gallon penthouse. I've raised him and many others from eggs(also why i havent named him yet, names are hard when you have double digits of a species), but besides this I have a bit of an issue. I want to spruce his tank up a bit. This was a grow out for several species including rams, bettas, and mollies, which is also why is has the dual sponge filters. Over the several years this tank has been up it truly has been a workhorse. Now, I want to convert it into a penthouse fit for a king. There is about an inch of garden soil and an inch of sand as substrate. He very much likes to chill in the moss at the top of the mopani wood, which I consider his throne. In your guys opinion what plants should I add that would be fit for this substrate? No co2, but I do have good fertilizer that I will be using to help out the nutrient deficient Java fern. Thanks, also just wanted to show off this beautiful little guy.
