Becoming a medical assistant teacher! Advice? Pros/cons?

Hello medical assistant’s of reddit🩷, is anyone out there a teacher here for medical assistants? How is it like? Some background: I am NHA CCMA cert, I have been an MA almost 4yrs working in family med, we do all ages 0-100, we do injections/ekgs/blood pressure’s…etc, I worked before as a CNA prior, I received training on the job but I am very knowledgable. Should I purse this role as a teacher? I will be following a textbook to teach but I am lowkey scared, is this a bad idea? Pay is really good, I would make $7 more than my regular job and my class currently is very small, I agreed for one semester. My manger knows my background but is confident in me because of my reputation at my office. Any advice please is greatly appreciated, thank you!!
