I’ve been a medic for about 10 months so I’m still new. I’m a fire medic and my partner (AEMT) last tour out of nowhere for some reason during pass down told the medic relieving me that he had to tell me what to do on call. I immediately told him don’t start talking s*** because you know damn well that’s not true cause you didn’t do any of that. If you wanted to be in charge you should’ve stayed in medic school the 3 times you went and finished, instead of quitting. That’s when he kept quiet and walked away. Back story I’ve been working at my current department for 3 years, my partner used to be an officer a lieutenant. He’s now a part timer and works full time some place. Do you all think he’s jealous because now i was the one in charge of him. Have yall experienced anything like this when getting your medic.
