Hi! So title is kind of self explanatory, I am a female, 240 pounds, 5’8”. I have recently gained about 40 pounds and I am very desperate and eager to get it off. I felt strong and healthy at 200, but I do not feel that way anymore. It is still a work in progress.
For the past year I have been going to the gym 4/5 days a week doing a push/pull/leg split and adding ab work and cardio to most sessions. I am wondering if I should minimize the weight training and focus predominantly on cardio. I really struggle with food habits, exercise isn’t the hard part for me. I feel like I am getting stronger and more toned which is nice but I am not seeing fat loss at the rate I want to. Would pushing the breaks on weights and picking up more cardio be better for me? My concern with this is losing muscle that will prevent me from doing things I love like hiking and climbing. Any advice appreciated.
Fair warning I have been building since I was 14, 10 years ago! So be warned there is some pretty cringe and childish stuff - but also many hidden bangers.
If you’re down, give me a song in return that reminds you of the one I give you 😁 my playlist is almost to 5,000 songs! Trying to get it there
I will shuffle my largest (4,785 songs) playlist to determine what song your message is coming from.
Please comment a time under 4 minutes so I am not spending an hour shuffling until I find a 10 minute song lol.
I have been growing this playlist for over a decade since I was just a kid, there are songs from my childhood until now so you may get something really weird or silly or something really good.
Bonus challenge / give me song in return that reminds me of the one you get
