41f first pic is day 0 second pic is day 30. both taken in bathroom lighting, no makeup, no filter, freshly cleansed skin. I know these posts can be annoying when people don't describe what you're looking at so let me break it down.
day 0: my forehead was covered in small red bumps, not painful just always there, always textured, always visible in side lighting. My chin and lower jaw had a few deeper breakouts that would cycle, one would heal and another would pop up right next to it. My under eyes had really deep dark circles and there were fine lines forming that the dark shadows made look way more prominent. The whole area around my cheeks was red and inflamed and very uneven skin.
day 30: small bumps on my forehead are almost entirely gone. My skin there is actually smooth to the touch which hasn't happened in I don't even know how long, chin still gets a bump here and there but the constant cycling has stopped. The under eyes circles are still present but noticeably lighter and the fine lines are less obvious because the skin looks more hydrated and plump rather than thin and dry. the redness across my cheeks has calmed down significantly and my overall skin tone is way more even and way less irritated.
I want to be upfront I did not just add an Led mask and change nothing else. I've been building this routine for about 6 months and I've been on tret since January. But the Led mask is the most recent addition and it's the thing that finally made everything more put together. I did extensive research before buying like I'm not someone who sees a tiktok and orders something the next day. I read the clinical studies on red and infrared light wavelengths, I compared devices, I looked at what was FdA cleared not just what was being marketed as a current trend. I was confident in my purchase from day one. But what I did not expect was seeing any result just within 30 days. I thought it would take 8 or12 weeks minimum.
