Lump in left breast

Lump in left breast

I had my very first mammogram in Oct. I was told off as apparently I was to have began mammograms 10yrs ago! I'm 50yo. I was sent for further testing - more extensive mammograms and ultrasound and something else I think 🤔 luckily I did not need a biopsy. They sent me home with all clear and go back in two yrs.. I have a lot of cysts - about 4/5 in one breast and around 20 in the other side! They're not worried about them though. Well last Thursday I noticed a lump in my Left breast between the size of a pea and small sized grape. It's hard and sore if I play around with it too much.. which of course I am atm hoping it might disappear. It's just above the nipple but behind the ariola area. Should I get it checked or am I being a hypochondriac? I've had a few health issues the last two yrs and anxious.

New here.. Mr Cougs is 17yo and had a check up last month with bloods. His CKD is now stage 2 which I didn't think was that bad? Vet is sure he has thyroid as symptoms are textbook, however thyroid bloods came back normal. So that means he's either one of the 10% of cats where thyroid isn't picked up OR low level lymphoma 😔 vet won't put him on thyroid meds unless his levels are bad as meds will upset kidneys, then CKD will progress rapidly.. vet saying in a matter of weeks. He also won't give meds until we get his qol up. Atm he occasionally slips out in his hind legs and has twice fallen off the arm of the lounge onto the chair part. He's loafing and just falls off. He's also eating us out of house and home and rapidly losing weight. When he first got sick 2yrs ago with CKD his weight was 5.7kg down from 6.5kg.. today he weighed 4.1kg 😢 this boy weighed 7.8kg in his prime. We're also having a lot of matting but it's hard to brush out and he's already so sore.

Further testing to see if he's in the 10% of thyroid and or a tumour is expensive and invasive and may not give us much more apart to say Yes he has XYZ.. and there's not much we can do for him. I'm not doing anything invasive at 17yo. He gave me a bit of a rundown of Mr Cougs already being 17yo and on 'borrowed time'.. he said if it was his cat he would be going for quality of Life over quantity. So we're now looking at palliative care to give him his happiest best life possible in his last days.. He's had a shot of solensia and sent home with a little bottle of Kitty weed that he loved at first, then like any self respecting feline promptly decided it wasn't his cup of tea after 5 Days 🐈🐾

I have found another vet who specializes in cats so I'm getting another opinion. He starts to look like he's picking up for a few days, but then rapidly goes down hill again. This has been a consistent pattern for the last few months. Cougs is only pooping every few days and they're one little inch long poo and quite hard. He did a nice soft moist one last week but nothing in his litter box since - he's still very bony and thin. I have 2/3 different tins of food to try and get something into him. He's always looking for food but only has small amounts at a time. I've tried fish oil and a probiotic capsule but he hates it and stresses/rips my hand apart. He won't eat it in his food so I have to pill him. Won't eat prescription diet so I'm giving him whatever he wants. I've taken to stick blending wet food as he likes the churu tube and crunchers Kitty crack 😅 vet has said I probably only have a few months.. I know he's an old man at 17yo but I'm not ready yet 😢💔
