I'm about to buy the extenders. For who's have tried without reducer, is it more stable with less extenders combined and screwed together? The choice is between a single piece of 45mm screwed with the 2 piecec from the zwo box agains a kit from which i would have to put more pieces screwd together to reach the additional cm needed (ex 21+16+45 mm vs 21+16+30+15+10 mm or something like that)
Hi everyone, i recently got an Askar 103apo and an ASI585MC AIR as my first setup. I decided to wait to buy a reducer/flattener because I thought I should learn first the basics of astrofotography, but mainly because I bought the camera later on so i first started with visual obseration. I'm having problems focusing the scope and I don't know what to do. I attached the camera with an extention that came from its box to the 2" visual adapter and tightened with the 3 screws but I can't seem to focus the scope and I literally took previews extending the scope focuser from 0 to 10cm which is its max extention.
